Objects of Devotion & Permanence
Handmade in France by a single artisan, each trunk requires 37.5 hours of meticulous craft, uniting carpentry, leatherwork, and finishing expertise. Constructed from poplar wood, finished with gold-plated brass hardware, and sheathed in the Maison’s signature hexagon canvas with full-grain calf leather trim, they embody the harmony of strength and refinement, precision and poetry. Inside, alcantara lining cradles precious objects with elegance, while the hexagon motif— reinterpreted from Au Départ’s 1834 origins — anchors each piece as a symbol of geometry, balance, and enduring luxury.
The Jewellery Trunk: a sculptural sanctuary for personal treasures.
The Watch Trunk: a statement of permanence, crafted to cradle eight timepieces.
More than objects of function, these trunks are companions for life - designed to endure, to accompany, and to be cherished for generations.
